Stone built period house dating from 1793, set in the beautiful Spey Valley and in the Cairngorms National Park. The house is set in its own 2.5 acre garden grounds and 1 mile from Grantown on Spey.

Set in the heart of the whisky trail Achnagonalin Lodge is close to leading distilleries such as Glenfarclas, Glenfiddich, Macallan, Cardhu and Dalwhinnie to name a few.

The River Spey is half a mile away and private and public fishing available. deer stalking and grouse shooting available by arrangement.

Achnagonalin is detatched and in its own grounds. Depending on arrival time the housekeeper will be there to meet guests. Alternatively arrangements will be made for entry with individual guests. Telephone numbers for any assistance required during stay are provided

We had a fantastic break at Achnagonalin House. The house was perfect for the family and the kids and had everything we needed. The kids disappeared into the lovely garden area to play football and rounders - yes there is that much space!! Easy reach into Grantown and Spey. Came here with a group of friends. Had an excellent time. Not one single fault. Garden is huge so lots of outdoor games played. Will defo come again.
