The 'Wilde' cottage will sleep 5 people. It's been restored but retains many original features. The living room has British 'Free-to-view' channels. There is a wood burner and electric heaters for off season visits. The dining table seats 6 people and through the patio doors you will also find a garden with outside table and a barbecue. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. There is a linen line at the back of the gite. On the ground floor there is a shower room and a single bedroom. Stairs lead to the mezzanine overlooking the living room, and off this landing are a twin room and a double room.
Please note there is no Wi-Fi in the gite Wi-Fi is only outside the main house

About the neighbourhood
Kerdeven is an area of outstanding natural beauty that offers peace and tranquility for visitors. Despite the rural setting it is still within easy reach of many tourist attractions such as Forges des Salles which is a a renovated and restored village from the 18th - 19th century, and the Abbaye de Bon Repos, and the Lac de Guerlédan. The 12th-century Cistercian abbey hosts regular exhibitions, a weekly farmers’ market and a spectacular son et lumière in August. The Abbaye is well suited for those who enjoy walking and cycling. Forests, lakes, rivers and the beautiful Nantes to Brest canal are within close proximity. There are excellent rambling routes on easy to find tracks through the woods and countryside.
Places such as St Brieuc and Concarneau are just over an hours drive away and you'll find public transport in the towns. Bus routes can be found by calling in the tourist office.

The gite has parking close by and is around a 5 minute drive both from Rostrenen and Plouguernevel. Pontivy is 30 minutes away, while Quimper, Lorrient and St Brieuc are around an hours drive. The Ferry port of Roscoff is around 1 hour and 30 minutes away. There is an international airport service from Rennes and a European service to Dinard (both around. 90 mins drive), the airports offer car hire. Roscoff is the closest port at around 1hr 25 minutes away/100km while St Malo is around 1 hr 45 mins/140 km away St Brieuc and Loudeac (only 30 mins from the gites) have train stations, the TGV goes to Rennes and onto Paris
