The Perfect Location for a break in the Lakes; walking the fells, biking Coniston & the Grizedale Forest, sightseeing or just relaxing in peace at the cottage.

About the neighbourhood
· The Perfect Location for a relaxing break in the Lakes.

· The Cumbria Coastal Path is about half a mile away, if Grizedale is too hilly for your biking then biking this path is easy and very flat. The Lake District National Park is less than 100 yards away, you can watch grazing cattle in the Park, on the opposite bank of the River Crake and on most days the entire range of the Old Man of Coniston, as you breakfast in the Conservatory.

· Activities - Walking, Mountain Biking, Sailing, Canoeing, Outdoor Photography, Activity Centres, Horse Riding, Climbing.

Railway: Ulverston: 10.0 km
20 minutes from M6 Junction 36 via A590

Exit M6 at Junction 36, take A590/A591 west towards Kendal.
After 3miles turn left onto the A590 and head for Newby Bridge/Ulverston.
Stay on the A590 via Newby Bridge for a total of about 15 miles.
Before you reach Ulverston at Greenodd turn right onto the A5092 signposted for Broughton-in-Furness and Ravenglass.
