With French doors just up from the kitchen opening onto the patio and garden area, an open-plan kitchen/dining room and a cosy snug area off the dining room, you will never feel left out of the action if you're being chef for the evening. The separate lounge area has 2 areas, so whether you fancy relaxing in front of the television for snuggling up by a roaring log burner, you will certainly find a way to enjoy your 'me time' here. Down the stairs from the kitchen/dining area is a large TV room with a trendy corner sofa, flat screen wall -mounted TV and a table football which the kids can enjoy whilst the adults unwind. The outside can be accessed by double doors from the rear of the property and is a tiered patio and grass area complete with BBQ and seating to enjoy the weather until early evening. Please note Buxton Lodge is suitable for families and mixed groups who are wanting a great place to stay in the Peak District but are not looking for a party venue. Due to the residential location it is not suitable for hen and stag groups or 30th birthday celebrations. Booking Information: We generally offer a set check in day of either Friday or Monday, with a choice of length of stay being a 3 night weekend, 4 night mid week or a week long stay. While you are very welcome to come for a shorter stay the price would be the same. Bookings cannot be made through TripAdvisor, in order to book you will need to contact us and book with Peak Venues directly. Prices on TripAdvisor may not be accurate, in order to obtain the correct price that the property can be booked at please contact us. Please note that the arrival and departure times over the festive holidays differ from the standard check in details stated in the Terms & Conditions. This period is a fixed stay and you are welcome to come and go within these dates but the price will remain the same. Our group was 14 family members ranging in age from 17 to 79 and the property was great. We spilt up on Saturday with some going to Chesterfield to watch football, the older members having a wonder into Buxton town centre and the rest walking...More

There were eight of us for the weekend and we all loved it. The house is about a 10 minute walk from Buxton Baths and town centre, so very convenient. It is very comfortable and warm with attractive furnishings and one of the best-equipped kitchens...More

Our second stay in Buxton Lodge and again a really lovely place to stay. Well furnished and equipped and only 15 minutes walk from the Pavilion Gardens. We would recommend the pubs in Monyash and Hurdlow and visited excellent Lyme Park.
