This cottage has been lovingly restored from the ruins of an old barn and retains some wonderful original features, including thick stone walls and coombed ceiling. All the interior wood is Douglas Fir, harvested from the grounds of the farm itself. The open-plan living space is modern, cosy and comfy with a wood-burning stove. Lovely warm and cosy cottage..well equipped to a high standard....very clean... Charming hosts.....perfect location for walking to the botanical gardens, literally from the front door of the cottage ! Great for cycling , watching the sheep, cows and of course the squirrels !!.....loved our stay...will...More
