Charming Grade II listed character Isle of Wight holiday cottage on edge of pretty village of Brighstone, 1/2 mile from the sea. 2 The Granary originally formed part of Brighstone Mill and dates back to 1700. Converted in 1990, this is an upside down cottage as the living space is on the first floor with views of the surrounding countryside. The bedrooms are on the ground floor making it easy to unload luggage. The pretty enclosed garden is a real sun-trap and great for outdoor breakfasts! The nearest beach is accessible at Grange Farm, around a ten minute walk.

A welcome hamper of local island produce is included for guests staying for 7 nights or more. Ask for our ferry inclusive deals - and book early!

Brighstone is a beautiful village with lots of amenities on the doorstep. We have a pub, village grocery store, newsagents, gift/card shop, hairdresser, church and surgery. The village is less than a mile from the sandy beaches of Brighstone Bay and is overlooked by spectacular downland and forest.
Getting around
There is a bus stop directly outside the Brighstone Village Shop, perfect for car free journeys. Do check the timetable as the services are infrequent (every 2 hours, no evening or Sunday services in winter).

We offer ferry inclusive deals (Wightlink and Red Funnel) so you can arrive via the port of your choice (Lymington to Yarmouth, Southampton to Cowes, Portsmouth to Fishbourne or Ryde). There are bus services to Brighstone from Yarmouth (No.7), change at Freshwater (No.12 to Brighstone), Cowes (No. 1), change at Newport (No.12 to Brighstone), Fishbourne / Ryde (No.9), change at Newport (No.12 to Brighstone).The bus stop is in the centre of the village, directly outside / opposite the village shop. Note no Sunday services during winter.
