Interaction with guests
Our 7 night stays run from Friday to Friday, which benefits our guests, as the ferry prices prices are less than travelling on Saturday. We'd love to be there to greet you when you arrive, however, in our absence (or your arrival late at night!) the keys to the cottage are stored in the key safe on the stone wall, to the left of the entrance gate. Please ring us a few days before your visit, to obtain the current code to the key safe. We live right next door, so please do pop around to say hello, or if you have a query, or to let us know if anything, however small, is not to your liking.

About the neighbourhood
Located a mile and a half from the picturesque village of Godshill, a traditional Isle of Wight village with a number of stone built, thatched cottages and shops. This very pretty village has become a popular destination with visitors and is home to some of the oldest architecture on the Island. With a medieval church and lots of traditional tea rooms serving delicious cream teas, it is well worth a visit. The popular seaside resorts of Ventnor and Shanklin are approx. 15 minutes drive away, with fantastic parks, gardens and glorious beaches. The Island's Capital, Newport, with it's many amenities, including a leisure centre and a theatre, is also only a 15 minute drive away. The Island has become a real hot spot for cycling enthusiasts,
Getting around
There is a very good bus service that covers the whole Island. However, as Dean Croft Holiday Cottage is situated in the heart of the countryside, a car is necessary for your full enjoyment of this beautiful Island.
