The charming town centre has a surprising number of excellent restaurants and a good selection of shops to while away a few hours – including a Museum of Shops. There is also the excellent contemporary Towner art gallery, plus four theatres, bars and clubs. It’s also a family friendly resort – to keep the kids entertained, the Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway, Treasure Island and Fort Fun offer plenty of entertainment, including rides, and there are bags of further attractions to visit nearby.
