You could not be closer to the sea here in Mumbles in this clean, well furnished, cosy house. Rooms are spacious, kitchen and dining room accommodated the seven of us with ease. Proximity to the play park was a real bonus as it allowed the kids (aged 3-6) to dive out and back in the sadly damp and cold Easter...

About the neighbourhood
Mumbles boasts a variety of shops for the discerning shopper. The main shopping area is located at the top of Newton Road and features a number of small shops and boutiques that cater to specialist and bespoke needs. These independently run stores give shopping in the area a more intimate and friendly feel than that of the chain culture associated with town centre shops and also mean that you are able to pick up truly original, one-off pieces. For those with a taste for designer and gourmet food products, there are also a number of small delis offering delicious delicacies from all over the world.
Getting around
The best way to get around the local area is to walk, the scenery is spectacular and you will get to know the location better.

If you wish to visit Gower and see the different bays along the way, it best to take the car so you can stop en route and take in the spectacular scenery. Take a picnic and drive up to Cefn Bryn where you can see North and South Gower rolling away on either side, as well as visit King Arthur's Stone.

If you want to visit Swansea City Centre there is a number 2b bus every hour from Limeslade. The nearest stop is The George which is a restaurant situated at the rear of Promenade View on the main Mumbles Road.

How to get there
By road - Take the M4 and turn off at Junction 42 and then it is straight all the way to Mumbles. It is approximately 8 miles. Once you hit Swansea City, the road will run parallel with sea (on your left) until you reach the village of Mumbles.
At the mini-roundabout go straight across for another half mile approximately. Take the first turning left after the tennis courts (they will be on your left) into Cornwall Place and at the end (sea facing you), turn right along a narrow road, which then curves slightly and leads onto Promenade Terrace. Promenade View is the 3rd house (No 3) from the left.
