An elegant three storey townhouse in the heart of Mumbles offering flexible accommodation for 9 people in 5 bedrooms. Option of short breaks of 3-4 nights (October to April) and to rent the lower two floors only for 3 bed accommodation that sleeps 5 at a reduced rate.

The Town House boasts lovely views of Underhill Park, private parking and a terraced garden for alfresco dining. There are period features throughout including fireplaces in most rooms and even the Victorian range is still intact (although not working).

Stylishly decorated with a coastal theme, this unique holiday home is homely, dog friendly and in the perfect location for making the most of all that the village of Mumbles has to offer.

Good for parking an a busy town. Well equipped other than shortage of small saucepans Spotlessly clean All in all it was suitable for out needs Owner was helpful with pre visit questions

We stayed here for a week - 6 adults and 3 children (6,7 and 10). The house is clean, comfortable and has everything needed for a great holiday. There are beach things, books, games, DVDs etc for children of all ages (including grandparents) provided. Several...More

About the neighbourhood
Mumbles is the gateway to the Gower and is a popular visitor destination. It is unique in that it combines a bustling village vibe with superb local beaches (Langland & Rotherslade) and a traditional promenade at which a pier, lighthouse and lifeboat stand proud. Everything is on the doorstep - shops, cafes, bars, galleries, supermarkets - even a Norman castle. There are tennis courts, crazy golf, amusements within easy reach too plus a couple of children's playgrounds.

There's plenty to do for people of all ages and the fabulous unspoilt beaches of Three Cliffs and Rhossili are not far away by car (20-30 mins).
Getting around
We provide parking should you need to use your car but everything is very convenient and most attractions and facilities can be reached on foot. There is a bus stop about 300 yards away at the top of Newton Road outside Oystermouth Primary School, with buses heading to Swansea. There are also routes to Gower. There is no railway in Mumbles. The closest station is Swansea High Street which is about 6 miles away.

Ferry: Swansea: 9.0 km
By rail then Swansea High Street Station is about 6 miles away and in a taxi will cost £12ish. If travelling by car from the east then on leaving the M4 at J42 take the A483 slip road which leads you to Fabian Way and through the city centre then head for Mumbles along the B4433. It takes about 20 minutes from leaving the M4 to get to Mumbles. Swansea Foot Golf on the left hand side is a good marker as you've the nearly arrived in Mumbles. Keep driving and you'll see a sign for Mumbles. Once in the village, , the White Rose pub is a good marker with a mini roundabout directly in front of it. Turn right here up Newton Road, then left at traffic lights at Oystermouth School which is Langland Road. The town house is 300 yards on the left.
