Myself or a member of my family will be available to welcome the guests to the property. We can meet you anywhere in Mdina and show you the way to the house should you have any difficulties. We will then proceed to give you a short tour of the house. If you desire we could also give you a quick tour of Mdina. We live less than 1 minute's walk from the property. We consider ourselves accommodating and will do our best to ensure that your stay is comfortable. We do our best to make sure that your trip is an enjoyable one. For any issue that emerges - please feel encouraged to contact us. We are also similarly available should you need any information regarding what to see and do on our beautiful island.

We spent 10 days in Malta, based out of Annie's Place in Mdina. Wonderful place and location, though if you intend on renting a car for your holiday you need to be warned that you need a special permit to be able to enter Mdina...More

About the neighbourhood
Mdina is situated in the north west of the island of Malta. The property itself is situated in the historical treasure that is the Medieval city of Mdina. Particular highlights in Mdina include the Natural History Museum, the Carmelite Church, Palazzo Falzon, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Cathedral Museum, the Mdina Experience, Mdina Dungeons and the Banca Giuratale. A variety of cafes, wine bars, restaurants and museums are within walking distance from the property. Mdina is also extremely close to the delightful town of Rabat which can also boast of its own attractions. Our home can be used as base to visit most sites in Malta such as Valletta, the Three Cities, Marsaxlokk, Sliema, St. Julian's, Rabat, Hagar Qim and Mnajdra Temples etc.
Getting around
:Malta is a small country. Short distances need to be covered by the average tourist. All major sites in Malta are close by. All major sites in Mdina and the surrounding areas are in walking distance from each other. Given that Mdina is a tourist must-see, it is a major hub for the local bus system and most routes pass through Mdina. Mdina is also well linked through public transport with many other top sites and visiting other spots on the island will not be a problem.Taxis also congregate close to Mdina.Should you rent a car, there is ample public parking right outside Mdina. Only permanent residents are allowed to park in Mdina, however we might be able to obtain a parking parking permit.

There are direct buses from the airport to Mdina.
Given that Mdina is a tourist hot-spot, Mdina is a central hub for the local bus system.
