A beautiful, well equipped cottage/barn in a stunning remote location. We had everything we needed and it didn’t take us long to settle in front of the fire. Ideal for walkers and even better for dog owners!

About the neighbourhood
While many people visit us just to enjoy life on the farm there is also an enormous amount to do locally.Countryside enjoyment starts with some of the best walking and cycling in the country on a network of bridleways and footpaths which start on the doorstep. Theres a trekking centre in Flash so you can enjoy the same on four legs. The less experienced can sign up to a week's course of riding lessons at the local school. Get involved in local farm life: watch milking, visit farm shops and the mushroom farm, or try your hand at some alpaca husbandry. This is great badger country: in the evening there's nothing so exciting as watching the dusk exodus of tens of badgers off on their nocturnal rounds. We're surrounded by some of England's most beautiful and exciting country houses. Chatsworth...
