There is a large patio and private garden. The apartment has stunning views of the awe-inspiring west face of the Dru, which is spectacular at sunset. Guests have the use of secure garage parking and a locker for outdoor items such as skis, boots and cycles. Access to ski fields, great walking, paragliding, climbing and cycling via the Brevent gondola lift is just metres away as is the local bus stop. The apartment is in a great location and beautifully maintained. It has everything you need - the kitchen is well equipped, the showers lovely and the WIFI and British TV channels added bonuses. We had a lovely stay there and would totally recommend it.

A second home in the Alps with all of the comforts you would expect. Equally suitable for a couple, 2 couples, friends or a family. The apartment is on the ground floor with ramp access and all rooms have access to the patio and garden. Bedroom 1 has a king size double bed, wardrobe and drawers and en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds, wardrobe and a separate shower room.There is a separate utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, hanging and boot space and plenty of storage throughout. There is a large selction of DVDs, books and maps and full entertainment suite including a SONOS music system. Towels and linen provided plus .apartment and linen cleaning at the end of the stay. This can be more frequent by arrangement for an additional charge.

About the neighbourhood
Mont Blanc and the Mer de Glace, Europe's largest glacier with its ice caves are the biggest attractions with numerous other glaciers and great mountain scenery, including alpine fauna and flora. The lovely Swiss towns of Sion, Fribourg and Gruyere are within short driving distances as is stunning Annecy in France and the Grand St Bernard pass with its famous dogs in summer. There are natural spas at Martigny and St Gervais and the famous Haute Route starts (or finishes) here. Chamonix has many events going on all year, athletic and cultural and a great Saturday farmers' market full of local produce.

7-8 hours driving from Calais. A car is useful for excursions, otherwise not necessary.
