Cosy and light 2 bed ground floor apartment located in Whalley Range.

Montauban House is a converted Grade II Listed building retaining lits of original features and is located in the leafy and conservation suburb of Whalley Range, Manchester.

The apartment sleeps up to 5 adults or 4 Adults and 2 Small Children and comprises of 2 bedrooms, family bathroom, equipped kitchen and living room with double sofa bed. Please note that Bedroom 2 is listed as a single but is actually a small double (4ft) and will fit two children but very snug for 2 adults!

Fully equipped kitchen with a fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric oven and a microwave. Guests have access to Wi-Fi and Sky TV, there is free parking, a communal garden and communal laundry facilities on-site.

About the neighbourhood
Whalley Range is still a large leafy residential district with a large conservation area and is home to Alexandra Park located along Alexandra Road South.

Tesco Express is a short walk on Upper Chorlton Rd just past the bus stop and there is another Tesco Express on Withington Rd, where you can find Whalley Range Village with a selection of shops and takeaways including a Subway.

If you don't fancy heading into Manchester City Centre, the trendy suburb of Chorlton Village is only 1.5 miles away and offers a wide choice of shops, coffee shops, bars and restaurants.
Getting around
The bus stop is located on Upper Chorlton Road and is a 150 metre walk with a regular bus service going to Manchester City Centre which is only a 15-minute journey. From here you can also take the bus to Chorlton.

Conveniently located less than 3 miles to the M60 and M56 motorway networks and only 1.5 miles to Manchester City Centre, 1.8 miles to Old Trafford Cricket Grounds and 2 miles to Manchester United.

Manchester Airport is 7 miles away and Manchester Piccadilly Train station is less than 3 miles away.

From the south, follow M56 into Manchester City Centre. The motorway will end and become A5103 Princess Parkway. Continue down Princess Parkway until you reach Mauldeth Road South. Take a left at Mauldeth Road South and continue along the road until you reach the traffic lights. Take a right at the lights on to Withington Road heading north.

Montauban House is about a mile down the road on the left hand side on the corner of Whalley Road
