This newly renovated cottage is in the great location of Caton, which is a small village that lies in the Borough of Lancaster with close links to local walks, dedicated cycling paths and transport links in to the historic town of Lancaster.

The centre of Caton village is approximately 1 mile from the cottage (15 minute walk), in the village you can find all local amenities that include, a small co-op, two or three pubs (one which serves excellent food), a fuel station, post office and a fly fishery. The cottage is just 2 minutes walk from The River Lune, well known for salmon and sea trout fishing.

Grooms Cottage has been tastefully renovated to a high standard will be your home from home in this scenic and historic corner of Lancashire.

We have stayed in Grooms Cottage on 3 annual occasions and it is ideal in every way; clean, comfortable, well appointed - and conveniently located for Lancaster and area, and not far from the Yorkshire Dales.
