Beautifully restored listed thatched cottage pre 1840s. All modern conveniences, central heating, solid fuel stove. 30mins Shannon airport,20 mins Galway city,15 mins to Burren .Cosy and warm.Owners live next door, we have chickens,ducks, horses and dogs and cats. Free range eggs when available. Lovely location convenient for motorway to Dublin about 2 hours away. Overlooks the Burren hills.Plenty to do in the area, fishing,horse riding, hiking, lovely beaches and first class restaurants nearby. Galway City 25mins and Connemara National park about 45 mins away. We have just added a guitar to the cottage for people who cannot bring their instrument on planes. We were not disappointed with this quaint cottage, every amenity was there. Once again we were away from the madding crowd - which is was we love! The cottage caters not only for couples, but there is an area for children as well.

Rural area but close to many attractions. We are on the main Galway to Limerick Road. We are 10 minutes from Kinvara which is the start of the Burren/ Wild Atlantic Way and out to Cliffs of Moher, Bunratty castle approx 25 minutes away. Connemara within easy reach. Shops, restaurants, fuel are all within 5 mins drive.
Getting around
10 minute walk to bus stop and railway station with connections to Ennis , Limerick, Cork and Galway.Regular buses every hour on the hour. A car would be a definite convenience.

We are 2 hours from Dublin on the motorway. Many people come direct from the Airport so easy to get to. There is a great road network plus trains and buses if you want to leave the cat behind.
