This is a top flat in a block of modern flats set off the main road in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking the Water of Leith, the river than flows through Edinburgh. A 15 minute walk through the Georgian New Town brings you to the attractions of Edinburgh's city centre and a 10 minute walk takes you to The Royal Botanic Gardens. The Stockbridge area of Edinburgh is a vibrant area with a village feel on the water of Leith. The area if full of independent small shops, delis, quaint cafes and trendy gastro pubs.
The apartment is close to St Bernard's well with a beautiful walk to Dean village
Stockbridge is also the home of Edinburgh Royal Botanical Garden, with its huge greenhouses
Getting around
Edinburgh has a compact City Centre and most attractions and places of interest are easily reached by foot.
Stockbridge is very close to the City centre, a 15 minute walk to Princes Street and approximately 30 minute walk to the Old Town.
The area has a excellent effiicient bus service, which covers all areas of the City.
