About the neighbourhood
The Isle of Arran is known as 'Scotland In Miniature'. It offers a variety of landscapes which in turn lend themselves to a host of activities.

Hill walks, beach walks, and cross country walks can be taken in beautiful locations and for the more adventurous there are numerous mountain challenges. The Island attracts many cyclists who are happy to enjoy their activity on the relatively quieter roads. There are a number of meetings that take place throughout the year.

There are 7 golf courses on the island ranging from family friendly 9 holes to 18 hole courses that will provide a good test for the serious player. For the 'box tickers' amongst the golfing fraternity a ticket can be purchased allowing one round at all 7 courses.
