Hi I'm Tim
My wife Wendy and I run Achaderry farmhouse that was built in 1795 and has been renovated to a very high standard. You are looking at mountains and deer on the 400 acre estate. You can feel the peacefulness of the place. Walk along the delightful tracks in the woods and around our lake. Sit in the hot tub (for 6) and look at the mountains or sky TV HD with movies and sports.

Or sit in the lounge with an open fire. All the logs are provided and cut from our own grounds. Is there anything like a day skiing and then back to a real log fire.

So much to do and so many places to visit. Achaderry is very central to visiting places like Skye, the islands off the West coast or the Trossachs. We will be glad to help you make the most of your holiday with tips on what to do and where to go.

In the Summer you can travel to Mal...

We have just spent 2 weeks at Achaderry House and cant wait to book again to return next year. What a fantastic place, the location is stunning with breathtaking views over the Nevis range mountains. We had the coldest 2 weeks probably on record but were very snug and warm with the lovely log burner, even the logs were provided,...

Management response:

It was indeed a pleasure to have Peter and Debs spend a fortnight at the farmhouse. We thank them for their kind remarks about the place, and they were quite right it was a very cold period of time. Like so many of our clients they have made Achaderry Estate a regular annual event. We look forward to seeing you...

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in the Scottish Highlands with our five boys, and two days with my parents. We were very lucky with the sunny...

Management response:

This lovely family from Holland were a delight to have at the estate. With five boys you may wonder what mischief they could get into, but they were just great a pleasure to have around. Many thanks for your kind words and we look forward to seeing you again kind regards Tim and Wendy.
