Hoping to see the Northern Lights or just. looking to get away from it all? This charming two bed detached cottage has outstanding views over the North Sea. There are excellent walks, bird watching and fishing to be had locally. Just 20 miles south of John O'Groats you really can't get much further north and remain on the mainland. With the town of Wick just 5 miles away you're never far from shops or excellent restaurants. The price shown includes Linen, towels and heating with no further charges.The Croft is an extended original crofters home built around the early 18th century with two foot thick stone walls in the original parts which now provide the bedrooms. The views from the cottage are stunning and the enclosed garden was perfect for our little dog. The cottage was adequate though needs some TLC, there was an issue with a broken window handle and the front door jammed which caused made it impossible to...More

Thank you for your review, we’ve had the door fixed already and the bathroom window is in the process of being repaired. I’m please to say that security is rarely an issue in this lovely community.

This was a very peaceful crofters cottage with heavenly views from the patio doors. Watching the sunrise and sunset was an obvious bonus. The cottage was clean, warm and cosy. Very much a well loved family cottage
