Lovely cottage in rural location, great for exploring Caithness. People and dogs made to feel very welcome and although we didn't meet the owner, she did get in contact to check that everything was fine with our stay.
The cottage itself is very comfortable and has a kitchen with everything you need.
The dogs loved the huge garden, it wraps round the entire corttage, and is fully enclosed, but there is also a smaller fenced area at the back door, a great idea.
There are lots of things to do in the area including long beach walks, castle visits, boat trips, high ropes course, Orkney day trips.
I would certainly visit again.

Management response:

Thank you Alison for your kind words. We travel with dogs too so we know some of the challenges. We would welcome you all should you return to Caithness in the future. Fiona
