Recently renovated ground floor apartment. Very close to Thurso beach and very central in town. Light airy and with all the comforts of home. Perfect for self catering, family holidays. Has well equipped kitchen with washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, cooker, plates, pans etc. Central heating with electric fire in lounge for extra heating if required. Beds made up for arrival and towels and blankets also supplied. Small welcome pack to greet you on your arrival.

A Lovely cottage. Clean and tidy, very comfortable and we'll equipped. The host welcoming and helpful. An ideal location to explore the Northern part of Scotland.

Lovely flat, very clean and comfortable. Fantastic location- only a minutes stroll to the sea front and shops but it was quiet and peaceful. The owner was helpful and the welcome pack of fresh scones and jam, as well as enough for breakfast the next...More

The apartment is very close to the beach and the town but in a very peaceful area. John O'Groats and Wick are both only 20 miles away.
Getting around
A car is not needed but is recommended if you wish to travel and see some of the stunning beaches that are in this part of the world. There is a train service that will take you through to Wick and Forsinard. There is a limited bus service that will take you to the Wick and the surrounding villages.

Ferry: Scrabster Harbour: 3.0 km
If you are driving getting to Thurso is very easy as you travel up the main A9 road and it is signposted all the way. I will give you the postcode to find the apartment with SatNav but if you don't have this I will send you an explanation of how to find it. We are about a mile from the train station and half a mile from the bus drop off points.
