We stayed here as a family group my wife and I, our daughter and her partner and their (then), one month old baby daughter. To explain the set up, The main house (Ornum House) is the owners home and is also run as a B&B....More

Perfect weeks stay comfy beds friendly owners location is near beauly you can park your car at the train station and have a break jump on the train to inverness cottage is as described pictures are correct of the cottage

This is an area of outstanding beauty, Glen Affric and Strathfara only a few miles drive.
Inverness is 13 miles, Urquhart castle 13miles.Culloden battlefield aprox. 25 miles.
Getting around
Car is essential as we are located in the peaceful countryside 2.5 miles from the village of Beauly.
There is a train station at Beauly, also buses run to Inverness and Dingwall.

How to get there
From Inverness on A9 continue over bridge to first roundabout, take the 1st turn off marked Beauly continue for approx. 5miles look out for sign for Beauly on left, take this road past Black Isle show field at end of road turn left, follow road through Beauly over railway bridge look for sharp left hand corner take the road on right on corner, continue up hill you will see a bus stop, post box and phone box on right, turn right follow road up steep hill to T junction turn left (you will see sign for Ornum house ) follow along and you will see Ornum on right, You have arrived.
