This is a lovely, large main door apartment in the heart of the city. The bedroom, at the rear of the flat, has a comfortable king size bed. In the front room, on the raised bed platform there is a double bed (we can sleep 4 guests, please just ask). The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. All bed linens, towels, tea & coffee and basics are supplied. The apartment has a large entrance hall, and a modern shower room with electric shower. It is in a beautiful, historic tenement with period details, high ceilings with ornate cornice plaster-work and original fireplaces - a true characterful Glasgow tenement! Recently on this website but with 5 star reviews from many happy guests on other booking sites.

Perfect location, a short walk to the city centre, and very quiet. Spacious flat, with everything that you could need. Ideal for a few days away. The owners are very nice people, and extremely easy to deal with.

About the neighbourhood
Garnethill is an interesting and friendly district, a perfect base for exploring Glasgow. On your doorstep you are just a short walk to the Glasgow Film Theatre, Kings Theatre, Tenement House, Glasgow School of Art, Centre for Contemporary Art, Piping College, Theatre Royal and the Conservatoire of Music and Drama. City centre shops on Sauchiehall Street and Buchanan St are just around the corner. Kelvingrove Art Gallery, Glasgow University and the west end are 20-30 mins walk or a couple of stops on the underground. This area has a nice mix of housing, schools, cafes and restaurants and our own little park too.

Queen Street Station 15 mins walk
Central Station 20 mins walk
Day trips to Edinburgh, Loch Lomond, Clyde coast, Stirling, Falkirk, New Lanark etc all easy from here

Airport bus, service 500, to Buchanan Bus station and from there it is around 10-15 mins walk to the apartment.

This is a resident's parking zone so there is no parking space with this apartment. However, there are multi-storey car parks nearby which do day and overnight rates. We can also supply visitors vouchers for short stays - please ask in advance
