In addition, I have created a 4 page guest brochure to aide you in getting the most out of your visit. 2) Arriving at the flat: Whenever possible, guests will be welcomed personally at the property for the handover of keys, shown the leaflets / local guidebooks folder as well as how to work the heating and how to get in contact with me if you have any questions. 3) During your stay: Feel free to contact me by phone or email if you require information/advice or assistance with any problem.

Yet another year spent visiting the Christmas market. Close to all the attractions with free parking for you stay. A flat not to be missed at any time of the year.

Good location with both the Royal mile and Princes Street within 15 min walking distance. Only hear trains pass by but noise is minimal. Flat is spacious and comfortable and a nice basket of tea, coffee, bread and goodies awaited us.

- CHECK IN 4pm onwards, with check out 11am. If required, Waverley Train station has a baggage storage area

About the neighbourhood
1) The apartment is very centrally located with all of Edinburgh's tourist attractions within easy reach (See our map “photo”). Ideally situated for the Royal Mile (5min walk), Palace of Holyrood House (5min walk), Scottish Parliament and Dynamic Earth (5min walk) as well as having the beautiful Holyrood Park right on the doorstep. Nearby, there are also numerous festival and 'Fringe' venues (it's a 15min walk through the park to the famous “Pleasance”), the Grassmarket / Cowgate (20min walk) and Edinburgh Castle (25min walk). In addition, the flat is a 30 second walk from London Road's buses (a major bus nexus, providing access to Princes Street in 5mins, the Old Town, New Town, the Royal Yacht, Edinburgh Zoo etc) and local shops/pubs.

Transport Links are excellent as the apartment is close to several main bus routes which access most areas of the city and beyond.

1) The Airlink 100 service (£4.50) runs from the airport to the City Centre (Waverley Bridge), from where it takes c. 20mins to walk to the apt., although we recommend using a phone GPS tracker.
2) Taxis: Are widely available at the airport and cost around £25 (depending on traffic) to get to the flat. Alternatively try calling City Cabs or Central Taxis.
3) Trains: Waverley Train Station is a 15-20min walk away. A taxi to/from Waverley will cost c.£7 to get to the apartment. [The station has a baggage storage area]
