Really has everything I would need, great location, lovely area, great space. Traveled for work and was close enough to get to meetings but in a nice quiet area - did not get time to explore the lovely area of Stockbridge but apartment was great...More

We stayed here for the weekend....was met by John...who showed us the appartment....very nice & clean...great eating places near by & not far from princess street...20-30min walk....would stay here again..More

About the neighbourhood
The apartment is well situated for anyone wishing to see the city sights but also for someone looking for a quiet, relaxed stay. The city centre is only 10 minutes walk or less by bus with easy access to the castle, art galleries, museums and shops as well as Edinburgh's abundance on restaurants and bars. The local area has much to offer also with several cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The Stockbridge area is just 2 minutes away with many more shops, cafes and restaurants. Edinburgh is renowned for it many green spaces so for Stockbridge guests can access the Water of Leith walk, Inverleith Park and The Royal Botanic Gardens.
Getting around
Edinburgh is a compact city so all of the city centre attractions and sights can be accessed on foot. However, if you don't fancy walking Lothian buses services 23 and 27 run every 10 minutes from close to the apartment. A single journey will cost £1.60 or £4 of an unlimited day ticket which can be used on any Lothian bus route throughout the city. From Waverley Bridge several tour companies run hope on hop off services to the city's attractions.

On confirmation of booking, we will send a pdf file with full directions to the apartment. The apartment is a 10 to 15-minute walk from Princess Street so getting here is simple. From the airport, the tram and bus service both stop on Princess Street or a Taxi will cost around £25 to £30. If arriving by car. On street, parking is free on evenings and weekends. During the day the rate is £2.40 per hour for a maximum of 4 hours. We can advise on where to find cheaper parking or free parking outside of the city.
