This self catering Edinburgh apartment forms part of a handsome Georgian building located within Edinburgh’s New Town. Duncan’s Land is a listed building and part of Edinburgh's World Heritage site. Built in 1790 by an Edinburgh merchant, Duncan’s Land was the birthplace of the renowned 19th Century artist, David Roberts (1796 –1864). The building features an attractive stone spiral staircase shared with the upstairs flat so is not suitable for access by people of restricted mobility.

The apartment has recently been refurbished to a high standard in a modern style, and comprises a living room with a gas fired stove, a fitted kitchen, two double bedrooms one with twin beds, a bathroom with a bath and shower and a small entrance hall. It offers comfortable ,contemporary living within a building of character and historic interest.

Owner available by telephone throughout your visit . Owner can meet guests as required . We have a key safe for access which allows you to arrive at any time . Information sheet in apartment with details of how everything works in the apartment . List of local and farther afield restaurants . Parking is on the street in designated bays and costs £1.40 per hour between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm , Monday to Friday . It is free outwith these hours There is cheaper all day parking , £2.50 for the full day a short drive away in East Fettes Avenue . There are directions to that area in the apartment information sheet .

We spent 4 days in the apartment and it was just perfect. Good location 5-10 mins walk to princess street. Cosy spartment very wel equipped and clean. I would really recommend it

Apartment was comfortable, 1 flight of stairs, good location if you like walking. No free parking, no washer/dryer. Small fridge, which means very small freezer. If you are in no need of this, it would suit just fine for a short stay. We would have...More
