The city center areas of West End and Old Town with their stunning medieval architecture and ubiquitous fringe festival venues are a 15-30 minutes walk away. Bus connections are frequent and convenient

There are several bus services into the city centre or other parts of Edinburgh. A single journey ticket costs 1.70 GBP, and a day ticket costs 4 GBP per adult. We'll be happy to advice you about any specific transport needs you may have.

Railway: Edinburgh Haymarket: 3.0 km
From the airport, a taxi will cost you about 15 GBP and take around 15-20 minutes.

The cheapest and easiest public transport option is the Airlink 300 bus which goes from the airport and will drop you off at Merchiston Grove, which is a 4 minutes walk away from the flat. Journey time is 48 minutes, cost is £4.50 per adult, or £7.00 return.

From the Waverley or Haymarket train stations, take the westbound 34 or 44 services respectively, which will also bring you to Merchiston Grove. Either service would work from St Andrew Square bus terminal. Single tickets are £1.60, day tickets £4.00.
