Condo/Apartment
This newly restored Victorian apartment has a stunning view of Broughty Beach and beyond to Tentsmuir Forest. Just 15 minutes from The Open at Carnoustie and 30 minutes from the Old Course, St Andrews. Dundee is only 10 minutes away - voted the 'coolest city' to visit by the Wall Street Journal. The V&A Museum will open there in the Autumn 2018. Broughty Ferry itself is a special place with lots of great pubs, cafes, restaurants and independent boutiques. The apartment is a minute walk from Broughty Castle and harbour and is surrounded by parks and play areas for children. ...This newly restored Victorian apartment has a stunning view of Broughty Beach and beyond to Tentsmuir Forest. About the neighbourhood
Often called the Tayside Riviera, the Tay estuary has its own microclimate and is known as the sunniest place in Scotland. Outdoor enthusiasts can choose from countless golf courses including Carnoustie and the Old Course. Popular with cyclists. Dolphins are spotted along with seals in the estuary. Touring is easy with Edinburgh only 90 minutes away. Broughty Ferry has a great selection of pubs, restaurants, cafes and independent boutiques. The award winning Tayberry is a 2 minute walk and you can also choose a family Italian ice cream parlour, an authentic Spanish tapas restaurant and great pub food at the Ship and Fishermens Tavern (check out folk jam on Thursday). The apartment is ideal for those with young families too.
Getting around
Car parking around the apartment is easy and you are within walking distance of the railway station and regular buses. It is a good central spot in Scotland for touring too with Edinburgh only 90 minutes away.
