About the neighbourhood
Situated due east of the city centre, this is the perfect base to explore the city and to access road and rail transport to other attractions. Parking is free and plentiful off the main road which is a huge advantage over accommodation closer to the centre of Belfast where parking is not free or isn’t easily obtainable. The Albertbridge Road is a main thoroughfare, connecting the city centre with County Down. Frequent bus services are readily available, and Belfast’s central train station is around 20 mins walk away. A major shopping centre (Connswater Shopping Centre), complete with Lidl Supermarket, Starbucks, KFC and McDonalds, is just ten mins walk away, and there is a licensed convenience store just across the road.
Getting around
There is a frequent bus service on the Albertbridge Road (stops on adjacent block) connecting with the city centre, and Belfast Central train station is just a 15 min walk away. It is possible to park free of charge on side streets, but guests are advised of bus lane and clearway restrictions on the main road.
