Snowdon House is situated in the Llanberis Pass, the most spectacular area of the Snowdonia National Park.

The house offers accommodation for 10+2 people with 5 doubles, and a twin with an additional sofa bed, all with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. It has full central heating and double glazing, a new fully fitted kitchen with underfloor heating, 3 bathrooms, 2 lounge areas with log burning stoves in feature inglenooks. There is a new 6 person outdoor hot tub, a 4 person sauna as well as a drying room, off road parking and a BBQ area and herb garden.

Booked the house for a group of us visiting for a wedding at Llyn Gwynant Campsite. Fantastic facilities in the house. Although we didn't do much cooking the kitchen was brilliantly equipped, everything we needed and more. We did enjoy use of the large barbecue....More

The house has four doubles and a twin all with stunning mountain views. There are three newly fitted bathrooms one with a full size bath, Sauna and drying room. The new fully fitted kitchen/dining area has the luxury of underfloor heating. There are two separate lounge areas, both with wood burning stoves in feature inglenooks with TV and Wi-Fi available.
At the end of a hard day on the hills you can enjoy a refreshing sauna in the 4 person sauna and relax in one of the two comfortable lounge areas. Each of these has a log burning stove in feature inglenooks - the one in the original cottage section dates back to when the house is thought to have been built in 1733. Snowdon House is located at the foot of Snowdon in the LLanberis Pass, which is the most popular and spectacular part of the Snowdonia National Park. All the best climbing and walking is literally on your doorstep with the footpath for the Glyders and Devil's Kitchen just 200m from the house.
LLanberis is the gateway to Snowdonia and deserves it's reputation as the centre of tourism in North Wales. On the shores of LLyn Padard with the magnificent mountain scenery in the background it's a great place for families to enjoy. You can feed the ducks on the lake or visit the Slate Meseum and the quarry as well as the original houses of the miners.

There are numerous craft shops as well as the steam railway around the lake ot the world famous cog railway to the top of Snowdon. If...

Ferry: Holyhead: 50.0 km
From Birmingham and the south take the M54 signposted North Wales and then follow the A5 signposted Shrewsbury and LLangolen. Follow the A5 through Betws-Y-Coed and on to Capel Curig.Turn left in Capel Curig onto the A4086 signposted LLanberis. After a few miles take the first right, still on the A4086 and you start climbing up the LLanberis Pass. You'll come to the Pen-Y-Pass youth hostel at the very top of the pass and the house is two and a half miles further on from here. The house is on the right and the parking on the left.
From the A55 turn off a junction 11 and follow the signs for LLanberis. Bypass LLanberis and continue on to the village of Nant Peris after about three miles. The house is 1/2 mile after the Vaynol Arms pub.
