Interaction with guests
We will be posting the key to hirers after the final balance is paid so you will need to supply a postal address for this. A SAE is also supplied for the return of the key after your stay. Should you require any assistance regarding local amenities or places to visit during your stay we shall be pleased to assist. We employ a local housekeeper and are available by phone or email should hirers require further assistance during their stay.

Conveniently located to Caernarfon and lots of beautiful sandy beaches. Site has swimming pool, clubhouse and shop/cafe with lots of opportunities to explore forest walk. We were expecting chalet type accommodation and were pleasantly surprised to find it was a cottage. Well decorated and maintained...More

Map
About the neighbourhood
We are just over a mile from Caernarfon which has a reasonable choice of local shops and several large supermarkets with a small local market on Saturdays.

When crossing the swing bridge behind the castle there is an enjoyable coastal walk or if going up the steps on the far side of the bridge this takes you up to a large park with a variety of activities for all ages.

If dining out in Caernarfon a taxi into town costs about £5. Our preferred venues are BLACK BULL (pub/restaurant); OUZO & OLIVE (Greek) or FU's (Chinese). In peak season best to book in advance.
Getting around
There is a bus route which runs past Glan Gwna holiday park.

The nearest mainline station is at Bangor.

For steam train enthusiasts the nearest stations are at Caernarfon and Waunfawr for the Welsh Highland railway.

There is also a lakeside railway at Padarn Lake in Llanberris or for the more adventurous there is the Snowdon Mountain railway which also sets off from Llanberris (in main season pre-booking is essential).

How to get there
We provide a route map for hirers or for those with Satnav the post code is LL55 2SG.

Occasionally we have overseas visitors and the nearest port is at Holyhead if travelling from Ireland or the nearest major airports are at Liverpool and Manchester.
