Redlake farm is a beautiful place in Somerset. Situated at the foot of the Polden Hills and on the edge of the Somerset levels. It consists of a productive apple orchard, a camp site and a large level field, which holds wedding events. 2 springs supply the stream and Trout lake, 1 of them is Bradley spring which rises from a deep well, shown on the old mythical maps. The water has a high mineral content and is slightly warm. The spring was used by the Romans and in the adjoining field a Roman villa with a mosaic floor was discovered which had a picture of Bacchus the God of wine, and Ariadne. The lake with its central island supports a variety of wildlife Our grounds feature a woodland area, and pretty well kept grounds with ample seating so to relax and enjoy the sunset....Redlake farm is a beautiful place in Somerset.
