We are pleased to announce that Ivy Cottage has been awarded the “Certificate of Excellence” by Trip Advisor for 2018 for the second successive yeari.
The property is a detached country cottage with reversed style accommodation. It has original exposed oak studded walls, timber beams and floorboards, with an inglenook fireplace and wood burner in the large open plan lounge/dining room, which also has a double sofa bed if required, increasing the sleeping capacity from 6 to 8 guests. The lounge/dining room is located adjacent to a separate fully equipped kitchen on the first floor. The wooden staircase leads down to the family bathroom, 2 double bedrooms (one en_suite) and a third bedroom with a bunk bed.

Very quaint little cottage. There was 8 in our party and we had plenty of room.....accommodation good, could do with a little updating especially the shower, top step on stair and top banister. Pauline was always a text away and was very helpful. Kitchen has...More

About the neighbourhood
The area is very rural, Woolverton being an hamlet in the parish of Telisford. There are many country walks locally including a riverside walk down to the next village of Rode. There is a local pub across the road from the cottage called the Red Lion which serves food and has a friendly local bar where you will be made welcome.
Getting around
It is recommended that you have your own transport to fully explore the beautiful countryside but there is also a good local bus service from Woolverton to the city of Bath and the local towns of Frome, Warminster, Bradford on Avon and Trowbridge.
