You will have an allocated parking space, extensive sunny gardens and a little bit of peace and quiet. Whether your stay is for family, friends or a romantic weekend get away, you could not ask for a more delightful retreat from the hustle and bustle of Bath city centre, and yet you are within seconds of quiet countryside walks which connect to the Cotswold Way. It is 5 mins easy drive to the central car parks or frequent buses run as often as every 15 mins from 200m away to the centre & station. A taxi approx. £8, or it's a pleasant 2 mile walk in 30 mins or so, via the famous Royal Crescent and Circus. Weston Lodge is close to many amenities, from a Michelin starred restaurant and others, to shops, cafes, a bakery, supermarkets and pubs, and is just two miles from the Roman Baths. We hope that everything you require will be provided, from linen and towels to wide screen TV, DVD, radio, WiFi broadband, books and magazines, DVD's and a few CD's to browse. The apartment is on the second (top) floor and sleeps 4 + 1 in a fold up bed that can be placed in the master bedroom or lounge. Bath was a Roman city, for 400 years. Attracted by the natural features of the area, and 'Rome' like climate, they only left when their Empire weakened. Bath is also the birthplace of the once modern Georgian style of architecture, which utilised many innovative techniques and of course the lovely warm golden local stone. Amazing buildings can be found around every corner of this World Heritage City. Culture abounds, in all its forms and then there are the attractions of Somerset, Wiltshire and nearby (and easy to get to) Bristol. Today, Bath is a small, but cosmopolitan, vibrant and lovely city. Great restaurants, museums, galleries, shops, theatre, concerts, festivals, rugby, cricket, the Thermae Spa baths, hot springs, walks or cycle rides along the canal or river, balloon rides; always something going on, and a wonderful dry and sunny climate make this lovely city a great holiday destination. The Priory, Bath's only Michelin starred restaurant, is a 15 min walk away, with pubs and other restaurants, small Tesco supermarket, shops and take-aways, main local hospital etc., all nearer still ( a 5 min walk) in Weston village. It's an easy walk / bus/taxi or car trip into the hustle and bustle of Bath's busy central areas. And you get the benefit of views over fields and peace and quiet at the end of your day Frequent buses (No 14 and others) stop within 200 yards that connect with the city centre every 15 mins or so. A family day pass is good value at £8.40 Access is by key-safe so that you may arrive at a time that suits you without having the hassle of phoning ahead, or having to stick to a certain time. Normally guests may arrive after 3pm and are requested to depart by 11am, but other times may be possible on request, depending on other bookings. General: Central heating, TV, CD&DVD player, fast Wi-fi, Kettle, Toaster, etc., Iron & board, Hair dryer Utilities: Clothes (tumble) dryer, Dishwasher, Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Washing machine Rooms: Bedrooms (2), Bathrooms (1), En suite (2), Shower rooms (1), WCs (2) Furniture: Sofabeds (1), Single beds (2), Double beds (1 or 2), Dining seating for 6, Lounge seating for 5, Sleeps maximum of 5 Other: Linen and towels provided. Outdoors: Shared garden Access: Parking spaces, bus route close by + Romantic? Most definitely! + Two couples? Ideal. + For a group of friends? Perfect. + A family? Oh yes. - Smokers? Sorry, definitely not inside the building. - Pets? Not allowed at all, sorry. - No hen or stag parties, or other noisy groups; this is a quiet residential building. The lounge is spacious and sunny with a lovely outlook, comfortable 2 and 3 seater sofas. Wi-Fi, TV with DVD player, CD/radio, with a lead to connect your phone/ipod etc. Round dining table that can seat 6. A beautiful room with Georgian features that is very relaxing. The spacious master bedroom, in its own wing, has a romantic feel with vaulted ceiling and private atmosphere, a king size double bed and a huge en-suite bathroom with bath ( mixer spray taps), wc and basin, vaulted ceilings, and even a fireplace! The second bedroom has the option of two single beds or a king size double. A fold up bed can be provided, for a fifth person, and used in the lounge or master bedroom. It doesn't really fit in the second bedroom. The en-suite shower room for the second bedroom is small, but has a large thermostatic shower, basin and wc, and limestone floor. Stylish well fitted separate kitchen. All the usual cooking utensils and pans etc. Nice views over Bath. The apartment is on the second floor, has different levels within and externally is approached via a gravelled path. So not suitable for a wheelchair user, sorry. The property occupies in its own extensive grounds that even have a stream running through them. There are lawned areas and some shrubs, and fine mature trees. A lovely place to be in the morning sun. You have an allocated parking place, and there is also further guest parking within the grounds. Laundered, cotton sheets and duvet covers, and towels are provided at the start of your stay, and changed weekly for longer stays. Linen is provided for the fold-up bed on request. The property is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival, and weekly for longer stays.More

This accommodation is described as luxury - and it could be - if only it was maintained and cleaned more thoroughly. We arrived having booked in for 44 nights, so the owner knew that we had a long stay - and yet the washing machine...More

These guests did not find the apartment to be to their liking - maybe they were expecting it to be similar to a 6* hotel, which it is not, and it is not priced as such. It is a self catering apartment, in an old...More

I do not agree with many aspects of this guests first Tripadvisor review; the apartment is cleaned by a professional cleaning company prior to each guests arrival, and I actually checked the apartment, and was there when these guests arrived. I also later messaged them...More
