NEWLY OPENED DECEMBER 2013. You will receive a warm welcome on your arrival from the owner who has lovingly restored this detached holiday barn to a high standard. Many of the original features have been retained and the quiet, elevated and secluded position gives outstanding views across the Shropshire Hills. The property offers a selection of beautiful countryside walks right from the doorstep and is also within walking distance of Pontesbury Village (approx. 15 minutes) with a range of local amenities including, pub, restaurants, takeaway food, chemist, post office and small supermarket. The medieval town of Shrewsbury is just 7 miles away and offers tourist attractions such as Shrewsbury Castle, shopping, restaurants, Riverboat Cruise, Theatre and Attingham Park.

The property is located on Pontesford Hill overlooking Pontesbury which is a large village which still has a thriving community with a large church at the heart of the village and local facilities nearby including pubs, restaurants, shops and takeaways. A wonderful bakery offering freshly baked bread and cakes. Local walks on Pontesford Hill and surrounding countryside such as Church Stretton and Long Mynd. Easy walking distance to the village for a trip to the shops or local pub.
