The maximum occupancy for this property is four guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by two additional infants (aged 2 and under) Bed linen and towels are provided There is restricted permit parking outside the property between 8am to 6pm. Nearby there is limited free on-street parking, a 12-hour free car park and on-street pay & display options 1 travel cot, 1 highchair and 1 stair gate are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided) 1 medium sized dog is welcome for an additional £40 per booking per dog. Charged £50 to replace duvet for muddy paw prints
October 2023 Be cautious about staying at this cottage. Our dog manged to get upstairs (dogs are not allowed upstairs) and put some muddy paw prints on the bed linen - we agree this was our fault. However, the agency we booked with charged us £50 to replace the duvet stating "The housekeeper has confirmed that she hasn’t been able to remove the marks in the wash, so the owner will need to purchase a replacement duvet cover." These were light muddy paw prints, any housekeeper worth their salt could have got them out in the wash, and failing that dry clean them. I don't mind paying when I make a mistake but this is clearly a way of getting more money out of honest people from an already very expensive small cottage. Disgraceful behaviour. And of course, I'm expecting a response from the cottage defending this appalling behaviour. In all my years of staying at cottages, I've never been ripped off like this. It's the principal that matters to me here.
