The house is a good size with 3 double bedrooms with king sized beds upstairs and a 4th bedroom downstairs with up to 2 single beds.

Great location. Short walk or bus ride into town. 2 local convenience stores at end of road. Parking just outside house. Also used extra free garage (but didn't fit one of the cars because of its tow bar). The house had everything you could wish...More

There is good access to York City Centre with a frequent bus service or 10-min walk to Gillygate and the city walls. The city centre is a short 15-min walk.

The nearby (2-min walk) frequent bus route takes you directly to/from York Station (which is otherwise a 25-min walk or a 5-min (traffic dependent) taxi ride. The bus route will also take you to various parts of the city centre.

York has excellent rail links as it is a rail hub located on the East Coast Intercity line from London to Edinburgh and the transpennine route from Manchester (including a direct train from Manchester Airport), Leeds and more.
