The lay out of the property has been well thought out to maximise the use of the space that was available on the building plot. The property is located in town it is a newly built property only 12 years old. It is close to everything that is happening in the town, so you can park up the car and not need it for the whole time you are on holiday.

Unless of course you want to visit the village of Goathland and walk the TV set of the village that is featured in Heartbeat, the garage the pub the post office etc. Take a trip to the village of Gromount the home of the Harry potter steam train take a trip out on this train and admire the scenery of the north Yorkshire moors fantastic views of the country side.

yet another great stay at the cottage .met with wine' choc's and bickies as usual .this as to to be the best place in Whitby ,we've stayed here for the last 7 xmases and standards have never faultered ..thank you IVY and ALAN ….

We had a lovely 4 nights stay at Tumble Cottage and it was lovely! Ivy is such a nice lady, nothing was too much trouble. The little things like milk in the fridge, a bottle of wine, mini boxes of cereals and chocolates was just...More

Drive from Teeside (Duram Tees Valley) airport about 1 hour 15 mins to the north Yorkshire coast line or
take a British Rail train to Whitby from Middlesbrough and then the cottage is about 500metres from the train station.

Very easy to find and to travel to. We have some regular visiters that travel all the way from Scotland in a Taxi.
