Sunny Notting Hill maisonette & terrace

Overview
Condo/Apartment -
1 Bedroom , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 2
London, England
This charming 1 bedroom with en-suite bathroom maisonette is set within a whole self-contained house in the heart of trendy Notting Hill Gate.

With its own terrace, perfect for spring/summer breakfasts or dinner with friends - this charming but casual apartment is split across 3 levels with a separate kitchen. Let furnished. All mod cons with excellent wifi access. The Notting Hill Gate tube station is within 1 minute walk.

This is a home not a hotel - for the cost guests have lots of space with added benefit of it not being a flat but a whole little Notting Hill house with an outdoor terrace. The central location results in street noise but the bedroom is quiet.

The host can be contacted any time for help if necessary.

The flat has had a variety of wonderful visitors, most have come from overseas for work or leisure. All guests h...

My sister and I stayed during the hottest days of the year and we were so grateful for the roof terrace. Miss C was there to greet us and was very helpful regarding restaurants and the local area. The apartment is lovely, (loved the art-work),...More

I stayed solo on this trip and this apt was perfect. One bedroom, good size bath, and a comfy living area. It was also very quiet considering the location. The host was there when I arrived and gave easy instructions for my stay. The location...More

About the neighbourhood
Vibrant area of Notting Hill is famous for its weekend street market. The night scene is pretty quiet so the streets are not as busy as during the day.
Getting around
There are lots of things to do locally. Firstly you are in Notting hill so you have to walk down (all the way) Portobello road which starts from my door step. There is a little Square near the bridge (at the end of Portobello) where you have a few Spanish Tapas - go for it! The Ladbroke Arms (posh local hang out) around the corner is great for locals and a very famous pub The Cow (great fish stew not expensive) is near there too (it's where Hugh Grant used to eat and drink with his friends).

Then if you walk the other way, you reach Hyde Park and Serpentine Gallery, the Summer Palace and the Orangery. Continue walking and you reach Oxford Street. The tube runs from Notting Hill Gate, is a faster way to get from a to b.
