The delightful bedroom contains a full-sized King bed - called a Queen in the US - (5'0” or 150 cm wide) made up with high quality bedding, fitted sets of drawers beneath, a well lit dressing table (with hair dryer) and access onto the south facing balcony - a perfect spot for your morning coffee or evening drink! Roomy fitted wardrobes are in the lobby beside the bedroom,. The bathroom is small but perfectly fitted, with a powerful shower over the bath. Beside it is a laundry area, with a washer/dryer. The kitchen/dining area, which has underfloor heating to complement the apartment's gas-fired central heating system, is fitted with every modern convenience: refrigerator, freezer, stove, ovens, microwave, extractor fan system, kettle, toaster, food mixer. With its amazing CENTRAL London location (SW1V 2NP - Google it!), this quietly situated apartment is brilliantly positioned right in the heart of London for a see-all London visit. It’s a minute's WALK from shops, supermarkets, restaurants, outdoor food-market, Pimlico Tube (underground) & 24-hour taxis, buses, car clubs, bike hire. It’s a 10-min WALK to an intimate, brand new three-screen cinema and major theatres (currently WICKED and HAMILTON are running), as well as to the River Thames, Buckingham Palace, Tate Britain, Lambeth Palace, Westminster Cathedral, M16, Mi5, St James Park, Victoria Station & Victoria Coach Station (from which there are easy rail/coach links to Heathrow, Gatwick & Europe).
Getting around
The area in which this apartment is situated is the best connected in London. Walk to most of the main tourist attractions, or pick up a taxi (taxi rank in next street - or order via an App), or hire a bike (communal bike stand in next street).. For public transport Pimlico Underground Station is just two minutes' from the house, as are major bus routes (the number 24, the 360). Ten minutes' from the house is Victoria Mainline Station, with trains to just about everywhere, including Gatwick Airport, plus numerous buses in the forecourt, and car hire in the rear car park; and at 15 minutes' walk you'll find Victoria Coach Station, with coaches to everywhere, including to mainland Europe, as well as London Heathrow and other airports.
