Victoria Mainline Station, Buckingham Palace, the River Thames and Tate Britain are within a ten minute WALK, and Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and the London 'Eye' within twenty minutes' WALK.

Interaction with guests
Keys are kept in a key safe in a secure position at the front of the house, so you can arrive any time. We send you the number of the combination lock when we send you the directions to the house and access details. Our housekeeper, Pippa, lives round the corner from the house and is on hand for emergencies. She also opens up the house before your arrival and puts in the small welcome hamper, plus bread, milk and butter. The bookings are handled by ourselves and our fabulous assistant, Carole, and we are happy to answer any questions to help you plan your stay. We pride ourselves in our attention to detail and our speedy responses.

Bookings may incur credit card or bank charges which will be deducted from Deposit Refund at the end of your stay. Returnable security deposit of £250 taken with final payment. Generally the property is let for 3 nights minimum stay but if there is a vacancy for a shorter stay between lets we will do our best to accommodate your requirements.

About the neighbourhood
The location of this wonderful house is unbeatable. Although it is situated in the very heart of London, it is quietly positioned. The area is very safe and the neighbouring streets are full of great local shops, cafes and restaurants. At one end of the street is a local food market; at the other, under two minutes' walk from the house, Pimlico Underground ('Tube') Station and terrific local bus routes. You can WALK to most of the main tourist attractions, and there are major theatres and a luxury cinema just up the road. Shopping is great! In the surrounding streets there are also some wonderful haute couture designers and antique shops. The architecture is mid-19th Century - street upon street of stunning white 'stucco' terraces.

Nearest underground (Pimlico Underground) 2 minutes' walk. Nearest bus routes (numbers 24 and 360) two minutes' walk. Nearest mainline station (Victoria Station) 10 minutes. Victoria Coach Station 15 minutes - coaches to everywhere, including to mainland Europe. Car hire at Victoria Station. Taxis everywhere. City bike hire 'stands' two minutes from house.
