Welcome to my cosy flat in Whitechapel. It is a 2 bedrooms apartment but it sleeps 5, thanks to the comfy sofa bed. With Whitechapel tube and train stations at just 5 minutes walking distance from the flat and Aldgate East tube station at 10, you’ll be standing in front of the Big Ben and major attractions in under 25 minutes. There is plenty of storage thanks to the shelves next to the bed, the closet and the chest of drawers at the guests’ disposal. The second double room is right next to the first one and reflects the same design choices. Both beds are dressed in luxurious linen that will guarantee you a 5-star hotel sleep. A desk, for your business calls, completes the room. The flat has an elegant, compact bathroom, which has everything you need in your stay. Toiletries and fluffy towels will be provided. Modern tiles and a splendid, glass, walk-in shower will never make you leave! The living room runs onto the kitchen thanks to the open-plan layout. Classic interiors and original features - like the arched window - will make you love this home! Relax on the sofa and make yourself at home in front of a nice movie! There’s plenty of space for your books as well. The sofa is also a sofa bed, just unfold it and wrap into the soft linen! The kitchen is fully-equipped with a delicious, vintage stove: don’t be shy and prepare your best dish! There’s a foldable dining table that seats 4 for you to enjoy it. The flat has also a private, leafy garden which will be just perfect during summer nights. Our property will be professionally cleaned before your stay. Access Guests can access the entire apartment. It is paramount that we are respectful towards our neighbours. The flat is located in the basement of the building. Neighborhood Whitechapel is a wonderful base for your trip to London, as it’s vibrant in itself, while well connected to the rest of London. Known for being a multicultural district in the East End with a ton of traditional pubs, and cafes and restaurants serving International cuisine. For example, the lively Whitechapel Market is a focal point for delicious Asian food, discount fashion and plenty of homeware. Try Bishopsgate Kitchen for a wonderfully varied menu using local produce. Or treat yourself to sushi at Sushi Samba, the Japanese-Brazilian-Peruvian restaurant in an uber cool design setting, with from the 38th-floor of Heron Tower. A short walk away is the popular and eclectic Spitalfields Market. Here you can browse fashion and vintage stalls in the renewed, Victorian market place, as well as eat at fantastic restaurants and shop at boutiques. If you’re looking for something a little different, sign up for a guided tour to hear about the gory 1800s Jack the Ripper murders while strolling through the area’s cobbled alleys. Nearby, the trendy Whitechapel Gallery is a large and lovely space showcasing contemporary art and out there pieces, as well hosting film screenings and workshops. On Sundays Brick Lane, just north of Whitechapel, turns into a giant food market. Head into Shoreditch for design shops, cool popups, great restaurants, and a buzzing nightlife. For a more relaxed night, check out the classic Genesis cinema past the curry houses on Whitechapel High Street. There’s so much to do in the area, you won’t want to leave! Conveniently, there are also two Express Tescos nearby, one on Commercial Street and one on Whitechapel High Street, as well as a Tesco Metro is a bit further away (6 minutes away on foot), on Fieldgate Street. There are lots of cash points, the closest one is on Commercial Road or Whitechapel High Street, by a restaurant called Efes. Whitechapel High Street also has a chemist. Transit With Whitechapel tube and train stations at just 5 minutes walking distance from the flat and Aldgate East tube station at 10, you’ll be standing in front of the Big Ben and major attractions in under 25 minutes.
