Explore the iconic Trafalgar Square or ride the London Eye at Waterloo - all within 10 mins of the flat. Hop on the tube and you can get to most places in Central London in 10 mins. Coming back to the flat itself - its a spacious one bed by London standards. The living room is minimalistic with a nice sofabed, TV and a dining table for four. The sofabed opens into a full double bed and is really comfy (I can vouch for it). The TV has basic channels but I am sure you will not be spending much time home watching it as there is so much to see and do in this great city! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including toaster, kettle, micorwave and a set of pots and pan. You will find sample tea, coffee and sugar so you can make your morning cuppa at home. The bedroom has a lot of storage space and I provide hotel quality linens for the best nights sleep. In the bathroom, you will find fluffy white towels, shampoo and shower gel so you don't need to carry your own. There is also a hair dryer for the ladies! Laundry facilities include washing machine, iron and ironing board. Baby cot and high chair can be provided upon request. Guest access The entire apartment is available for my guests other than some cupboards where I store my stuff. Interaction with guests My friends at Hostmaker will look after you during your stay and they will meet you in person for the key exchange. Other things to note There is no AC in the flat as is the case with 99% of homes in London. To note: My property is on the market for sale, I would like to ensure that property viewings are possible, guests will be given sufficient notice of any viewings which may take place. Please note these could occur Mon to Fri:10.00 until 20.00 and also Sat to Sun 11.00 to 18.00. The flat is located in Elephant and Castle - a now gentrified section of Zone 1. This area has seen a rapid growth in shiny glassy tower blocks that give you amazing views of the city. Gentrification has brought us new restaurants, a Pret a Manger and this is one of the sought after areas for young professionals looking to buy close to the city centre. From my flat you can get to Central London and all the best sights in 10-15 mins. London Eye at Waterloo and Big Ben are so close you can get quickly. There are numerous restaurants very close by: Costa Azul (under railway bridge arches( just 20 m away, after you come out of main entrance turn right and you will see restaurant on left hand side. Nando's : On Newington Causeway, 2 mins walk away. La Bodeguita: in the Shopping Centre next to the tube station. Getting around Elephant & Castle tube station has two entrances, just a minutes walk away and is served by the Northern Line and the Bakerloo Line. There are two entrances, the nearest is the Northern Line Entrance, the other entrance for the Bakerloo line is reached by crossing the road along Newington Causeway. There are numerous buses going towards many of London's most popular attractions: London Eye, Southbank: (Stop N across the road)Bus (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN), get off at Waterloo Station and it is a short walk to the Southbank/London Eye. (approx 5 mins) Houses of Parliament/Big Ben/Westminster: (Stop M) Bus 453 , stop is outside Sainsbury's supermarket (approx 8 mins) London Bridge: Bus 35 or 40 from Newington Causeway (approx 4 mins) Additional amenities: Full KitchenMore
