Reviewed 29 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We stayed in this flat four nights in July. The property manager, John, while very helpful via email in advance of our stay, seemed quite rushed when he met us there to give us the keys. He spent less than than three minutes and uttered two or three generic sentences when showing us the apartment, and then he left abruptly. Maybe he was just having a stressful day - he had seemed so much warmer in his emails, when we had made arrangements to contact him upon our arrival in London.

The flat is located in a reasonably nice neighborhood in Marylebone - there are shops and restaurants nearby, as well as two tube stops within walking distance. It's a little shabbier than the pictures indicate, but it was clean and comfortable enough for our short stay. The beds are very good, and the bathroom has been updated and is quite modern.

As we were unfamiliar with the area, it would have been helpful if there had been some sort of "welcome" folder, as there has always...

This is a nice flat in Marleybone with 2 good sized bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer. Very comfortable for myself, my wife and our 19 year old daughter, who had her own room. Marleybone has lots of shops and restaurants and is a reasonable walk to many sites, including the British Museum and Piccadilly Circus. The tube is quite close if you prefer that, and it's easy to catch a cab on Marleybone Rd when needed. The only downside to the apartment is that it's close enough to Marleybone Rd to catch some traffic noise with the windows open, but it never bothered us and frankly big cities are noisy. Very nice and helpful people to work with which is always a plus.

About the neighbourhood
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some
