Castle View is set in open farmland and next to a working farm, along a well worn track, yet just 300 metres from a fast country lane. Listen carefully and you may hear distant cattle, sheep and geese, but otherwise the tranquility and beauty of the surrounding countryside is breath-taking. The front of the cottage is south facing and gets the sun till late. Because the roof is low, the rear garden enjoys the sun until it sets. The facilities inside the cottage are exceptional with a double-sided log fire, a dining table that easily seats up to 12 (probably 14 at a push), an air-conditioned lounge that seats 12 and a mezzanine snug for up to 4 people. There are smart, flatscreen TVs in every room, high-speed internet and almost the entire ground-floor is open plan with a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen including a wine cooler and ice-ma... The area is so safe you can leave your doors open. Quaint Village, timber-framed pubs selling great food. Italian and Chinese restaurants close by and an award winning fish and chip shop. Tesco supermarket/petrol station is 1.5 miles away. Country walks outside the door, with the nearest trail about 10 minutes walk away. Castle View is very convenient for Aintree racecourse (15 mins by car) Liverpool and Everton stadia (25 mins) Birkdale Golf Course is just 40 mins away. Hoylake is 50 mins away. Other golf courses are as close as 4 minutes drive (Blundell's Hill), with Bowring Park (The oldest municipal in England) just 6 minutes away
Getting around
Taxis are so cheap in the Liverpool area that the best way to see around Liverpool undoubtedly is by taxi with the optimum number of passengers either 4 or 5. For instance 4 people from Castle View to Liverpool City Centre will cost just £5 each and take 15 minutes. A bus will cost £2.20 each and take an hour. If you don't drink then you can drive and Castle View is convenient for everywhere in the northwest.

Liverpool City Centre is approximately 15 minutes away and Manchester is approximately 30 minutes. Manchester airport is 25 minutes
