About the neighbourhood
Keswick is suited to people of all ages and interests, quite apart from it's beautiful location it is a vibrant bustling market town with it's own theatre, art deco cinema an abundance of restaurants to suit all tastes, mainstream shops and artisan shops. Golfers are catered for at the nearby Keswick golf club, there are two bridge clubs in town which welcome visiting players, angling opportunities on the river or in Derwentwater (permit required).
Getting around
There are bus stops within 50 metres for travel to the south lakes which is a very scenic route, particularly on the top deck. Travelling to the western lake district would require a change at the main bus station. The nearest rail station is 22 miles away and the bus which connects with the rail service passes the door.
