Green End House is an idyllic getaway for those seeking tranquility, calm and the beauty of the Lake District. Ideally situated on the quieter, western side of Lake Windermere, Green End House is a Grade II listed property set in mature gardens and stunning countryside near to Hawkshead. Guest accommodation, bedroom, sitting room and breakfast room are all in the Georgian extension to the original 17th century building, are south facing, high ceilinged and feature views to Esthwaite Water. I'm only offering 1 letting room in 2016 so guests will enjoy exclusive use of the house during their stay - so afternoon tea on the lawn or cosy evenings in front of the woodburning stove are guaranteed to be peaceful and private. Pass alongside Thirlmere, Grasmere and Rydal Water into Ambleside. Filter right onto A593 signposted Hawkshead and Coniston.
