This large holiday house is walking distance from the award winning Village Bakery (great lattes & lots of gluten free choices as well as super fresh bread, cakes and snacks), the Shepherd's Inn Pub, a super antique shop (the Brocante Emporium), the Village shop & tea house which serves locally blended roasted coffee and the Pennine Fells.

Kirkbride Hall is set within the former walled orchards of Melmerby Hall. The shallow tributary of the River Eden running through its 20 acres of wooded grounds provides hours of fun for kids. Kirkbride Hall is pet friendly and there is plenty of room in the private woodland surrounding Melmerby Hall for them to run around!

At the roundabout take the A66 exit heading East towards Appleby/Scotch Corner

After 0.9 miles at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A686 sign posted Alston

After approx 5 miles you will reach the metal bridge, over the bridge is the village of Langwathby

Continue on the A686 and you will enter the village of Melmerby

As you enter the village and after the sandstone wall on the left take the next turning left and then left again

Follow the road past the archway and round a bend to the right. Kirkbride Hall is located on the left just before the Church
