Fabulous house with plenty of room for our family get together, we were 13 adults and a toddler, all bedrooms were beautiful with ensuite bathrooms, the kitchen was so well equipped with everything we could possibly need. A wonderful property, a step back in time but with all modern facilities. Quiet pleasant gardens providing total relaxation and if the evenings are cool the real log fires in the house provide a welcoming sight. About the neighbourhood
This large holiday house is walking distance from the award winning Village Bakery (great lattes & lots of gluten free choices as well as super fresh bread, cakes and snacks), the Shepherd’s Inn Pub, a super antique shop (the Brocante Emporium), the Village shop & tea house which serves locally blended roasted coffee and the Pennine Fells. The shallow tributary of the River Eden running through its 20 acres of wooded grounds provides hours of fun for kids. Melmerby Hall is pet friendly and there is plenty of room in the 20 acres of gardens and grounds for them to run around!

After approx 5 miles you will reach the metal bridge, over the bridge is the village of Langwathby

Continue on the A686 and you will enter the village of Melmerby

As you enter the village and after the sandstone wall on the left take the next turn left and then left again

Melmerby Hall is located through the sandstone archway directly ahead
